nd falls wherever a river meets the sea, it’s got a combined total ascent four times that of Mt Everest. It is however outstandingly beautiful, like nowhere else on earth.Along the way you will see soaring cliffs, sandy beaches, rocky coves where smugglers once plied their trade, ruined castles, weird subtropical valleys that use trapped heat from the gulf stream to grow gardens full of exotic plants, the south coast’s largest city, a stately home perched on a rock in a bay, towns clustering on the sides of river valleys where they meet the sea, country estates, army ranges, a rainforest encapsulated within a giant cluster of space bubbles, a tiny town in a ravine that uses donkeys to carry good on sleds down the narrow cobbled street, ancient cathedrals, fashionable hotels from the roaring twenties, dinosaur fossils, fish and chips, and a whole heap of other stuff we won’t discover until we get there.Sold yet? Well hang on, I’ve got something more in mind.I have directorial ambitions and I’d like to document the journey and all the idiosyncratic things we find. That’s why I’m looking for (ideally) an American co-adventurer (or two, then there’ll always be one of us to hold a camera) to come in with fresh eyes and make it a comedy of differences. Well. Comedy in that life has its funny moments, no acting skills required! The plan would be to film as we go during the day, then edit and upload to a youtube channel in the evenings. If it makes any money, we split it evenly. So if you:> Want to see a different side of England> Are a similar age to me (18-25)> Are comfortable on camera/have any filming or editing experience> Have a sense of humour and joy of discovery of the world around you> Are available Summer 2017 for approximately 2 months> Don’t mind walking 630 miles (note: that’s a really long way.)> Even if it rains> Because I guarantee it will at least once> Are cool with the possible side effect of being a youtube sensation although I’m not counting my chickens on that oneThen get in touch by all means and we’ll talk logistics and funding. Remember, opportunity only knocks once!~Pete
ge me anyway and who knows what we can plan, even in a group maybe. Happy travelling all, and stay safe!
